We have a lot of favorites; favorite foods, favorite restaurants, favorite hotels, favorite destinations... so we've decided to share some of our favorite places near and far with you!
Starting as a pop up booth at local farmers markets, Tatte went from one small location in Brookline, MA to eight homely and fresh cafes. Known for their unique foods and pastries, Tatte Bakery & Cafe has something to satisfy everyones desires. Shelves filled with sweet and tart baked goods are a must when at this cafe. But every snack needs to have a beautiful hand crafted beverage to accompany it. You have the pick of traditional cafe drinks to some of the freshest squeezed juices we have ever had! While you can't go wrong with whatever you choose off their menu, we do have a few favorites. During their weekend brunch they offer a breakfast sandwich which includes: an egg of your choice, Vermont cheddar cheese, and bacon all between two slices of sourdough bread. Of course when we are looking for something more exotic we go for the Shakshuka: a traditional North African dish with tomato sauce, egg, feta cheese, bell peppers and a large side of challah bread. You can add extra veggies or lamb, if you are looking for more substance.
The creative mastermind behind this brand is a self-taught pastry chef, from Israel. This hardworking woman, immigrated to the United States in 2003, leaving her successful career in film to pursue a passion in a new place. Each Tatte cafe fosters that spirit and provides a space to not only feed your stomach but to feed your mind to imagine and create. The cafe is often a spot used by students to study or individuals to have a meeting.
And a trip to a cafe wouldn't be the same without a delicious drink! Of course Sheila lover her hot coco, and Tatte does not disappoint. They have fresh squeezed orange juice and the coffee you've been craving to bring you to life.
